100,000 year old art cave found in South Africa.

This is from an article in the NYTimes who got it from Science/AAAS

Researchers have found an artifact from a South African Cave that seems to be over 100,000 years old!
Now that seems like Drop Mouth Science!

This artifact comes from a art shop that they used to make mosaics and other artistry in the early times of homo sapians and the first form of paint was created. Scientist believe it is ancient because of an ancient
form of orcher and reddish pigments that were used in those times.

This is the first cave that was found that is older than 60, 000 years old.

The New York Times has great articles on amazing science like these caves.  Read more about this 100,000 year old cave
